Hot Springs Village is a great place to live and much of that is thanks to the hundreds of people we have on staff. The Hot Springs Village POA is putting names to some of the many faces you see here in the Village and recognizing them for all they contribute to the quality of life here.
This week, Hot Springs Village POA recognizes Peggy Ford, the Administrative Assistant to Public Utilities. As an administrative assistant, she aids the Public Services Department as well assists customers and staff with with various matters.
“It’s really hard to put her job description into words because she does so much,” said Administrative Assistant to the COO Victoria Noles.
We will be saying “so long” to Peggy next month as she will be retiring Nov. 22.
Peggy said her favorite thing about working in the Village is “the people.” She added that there are some wonderful people in the Village and that she has made a lot of very close friends working here.
She has lived in the are for 40 years and has worked for the POA for 21 of those. Her family includes her husband, Terry; daughters, Tammie and Mandy; five grandchildren ; her dog, Millie; chickens, Margaret and George; and rabbits, Conway and Loretta Lynn.
Although Peggy isn’t from Hot Springs Village per se, she might as wll be as her hometown is Fountain Lake, right outside of the gates.
When it comes to college sports, her favorite team is the Henderson State University Reddies.
