Designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, Balboa Golf Club has been recognized among the state’s top ten layouts and is considered a favorite by residents. Balboa is a walker-friendly course with wider fairways and fewer elevation changes than other Village courses. The combination of water hazards and bunkers requires a strategic plan to save par, and it has quite a collection of tricky par 3s.
Balboa features a golf shop, driving range, putting green, short game area, downstairs bar/lounge, and upstairs dining. Greens are made of Penn Cross/Crenshaw Bent grasses, and fairways are 419 Bermuda grass.
