Coronado Golf Club
Coronado Golf Club is an executive‑length, par‑62 course that’s perfect for a quick 18 holes while still offering plenty of challenge. Designed by Ault, Clark & Associates, the layout features only par 3s and par 4s, making it ideal for beginners as well as experienced golfers looking to sharpen their short game.
With no bunkers on the course, players who dislike sand shots will feel at ease, but precise irons and wedges are still required from 150 yards and in. Coronado includes a golf shop, putting green, and short‑game area, along with on‑site dining, all set against scenic views where, on clear days, you can see for miles toward Hot Springs and the surrounding Ouachita foothills.

Hole 1 “A Friendly Start”
This welcoming par 4 opens the round with a wide fairway and a gentle dogleg right. A hillside and trees guard the corner, while grass bunkers protect the green for a confident yet careful approach.
Hole 2 “Edge of the Water”
A short par 3 with nerves of steel required. The green juts into a pond, bordered by water on two sides and a drainage ditch on the third—precision is everything here.
Hole 3 “Straight and True”
A wide-open par 4 that rewards clean ball striking. The green sits slightly elevated, framed by bunkers on both sides that make accuracy on the approach key.
Hole 4 “The Left Turn”
This par 4 takes a sharp dogleg left around towering trees. The fairway widens after the corner, but the uphill green and front bunkers keep you honest.
Hole 5 “Mound and Measure”
A gentle leftward par 4 with large trees and a small mound shaping the turn. The broad fairway climbs to an elevated green guarded tightly on both sides.
Hole 6 “Downhill Dare”
This short par 3 plays straight and downhill to a receptive green. Just don’t drift right—those deep grass bunkers are eager to collect wayward shots.
Hole 7 “Twin Guardians”
A scenic downhill par 3 flanked by grass bunkers on both sides. The green is generous, but the slope demands finesse with the short iron.
Hole 8 “Right on Cue”
A gentle dogleg right makes this par 4 both graceful and strategic. The slightly raised green, bunkered left and right, rewards those who find the fairway’s ideal line.
Hole 9 “Waterside Finish”
A beautiful par 3 over the pond to close the front nine. The elevated green slopes toward the water, with grass bunkers to the right adding to the tension and charm.
Hole 10 “Sharp Left Return”
The back nine begins with a bold par 4 that hooks hard left. The fairway opens past the corner, leading to an elevated green ringed by front grass bunkers.
Hole 11 “Tree Trouble”
This narrow par 4 doglegs sharply right, guarded by a large tree at the turn. The approach plays to a wide green protected by left-side grass bunkers—patience pays off here.
Hole 12 “Tiered Beauty”
A long downhill par 3 with an elevated green that demands perfect club selection. Deep grass bunkers stand ready for anything short or misjudged.
Hole 13 “Uphill Challenge”
A moderate-length par 3 that climbs to a high, well-bunkered green. It’s all carry here, and the elevation makes club choice tricky.
Hole 14 “Short and Steep”
This compact par 3 looks simple but plays uphill to a small, elevated target. Grass bunkers flank both sides, making accuracy essential.
Hole 15 “Angle of Attack”
A long, demanding par 3 angled across the fairway to a green perched high above. Deep right-side grass bunkers catch many who underestimate the climb.
Hole 16 “The Long Climb”
A strong uphill par 4 with a dogleg left around mature trees. The green tilts from the fairway and is fiercely protected by deep grass bunkers—a true test late in the round.
Hole 17 “Drop Zone”
A dramatic downhill par 3 that tempts players with its short yardage. The narrow green sits slightly elevated, with steep fall-offs on three sides waiting for misfires.
Hole 18 “Home Stretch”
A memorable finishing par 4 with a gentle dogleg right and a hump guarding the pivot point. The fairway widens near the green, where grass bunkers frame a picturesque end to the Coronado journey.
