DeSoto Golf - Hole Details

Hole 1 “Blind Ambition”

The round begins with a blind tee shot framed by tall trees on both sides. A well-placed drive to the ridge rewards a perfect angle into a generous green, guarded by a kidney-shaped bunker and a sneaky false front.

Hole 2 “Thread the Needle”

A narrow, tree-lined fairway bends left on this picturesque par 4. Accuracy off the tee is essential, as bunkers and trees squeeze the landing zone. Three protective bunkers await around the angled green, rewarding bold precision.

Hole 3 “Temptation Ridge”

This short par 4 dares you to take risks, but only precision wins here. Left brings trees, right catches sand, and the uphill green—protected by a false front and deep bunker—tests even the steadiest hand.

Hole 4 “Water’s Edge”

A beautiful par 3 that demands both courage and control. Carry the water and front bunker cleanly, and you’re rewarded with a wide, welcoming green and a prime birdie chance.

Hole 5 “Accuracy Alley”

This demanding par 4 insists on precision from start to finish. The fairway slopes left, steering stray shots into trouble, while bunkers and a steep drop behind the green require careful distance control.

Hole 6 “Risk and Reward”

A bold par 5 winds between a creek on the left and trees on the right. The water threatens again on the second shot, daring long hitters to go for glory. Those who play it safe and steady still find a fine path to par.

Hole 7 “Creek Crossing”

This scenic par 4 features a meandering creek that guards the left and crosses the fairway. A precise drive opens the door to a narrow approach flanked by deep bunkers—confidence here can turn caution into birdie.

Hole 8 “The Strategist”

A true thinker’s par 5 that rewards smart play over power. The fairway tilts toward a creek on the right, and the uphill approach challenges distance judgment. Smart players will lay up for the best scoring angle.

Hole 9 “Signature Finish”

The front nine ends with a breathtaking downhill par 3 over water. The pond guards the front, bunkers guard the back, and precision from the tee defines success on this unforgettable hole.

Hole 10 “Turtle Bay”

A friendly start to the back nine, this gentle dogleg right par 4 greets players with wide fairways and curious turtles by the pond. Stay up the left side to counter the slope and attack the elevated green with confidence.

Hole 11 “Wind Whisperer”

A deceptively tricky par 3 where wind often hides among the trees. Deep bunkers protect the front right, so trust your club choice and swing with conviction.

Hole 12 “Hidden Turn”

This short par 4 bends left through a tight, tree-lined chute. A blind tee shot demands perfect placement, setting up a short approach to a green framed by front bunkers. Precision earns the payoff here.

Hole 13 “The Sentinel Oak”

A dogleg right guarded by a towering oak at the corner, this par 4 values brains over brawn. A well-placed drive opens a clean look to a green wrapped by three bunkers, rewarding careful strategy.

Hole 14 “Straight Shooter”

This honest par 3 is as fair as it gets—everything is in plain sight. Deep bunkers flank both sides, and a centered tee shot sets up a smooth birdie try.

Hole 15 “The Wedding Cake”

Named for its tiered fairway, this par 4 winds gracefully left through a corridor of trees. Aggressive drives risk finding deep sand or grass bunkers around the elevated, multi-tiered green—precision is the icing here.

Hole 16 “Tall Target”

A welcoming par 5 that curves gently left and invites scoring. A well-placed second shot opens a clear view of the green—just aim for the tallest tree behind it to steer clear of bunkers.

Hole 17 “Fairway Focus”

This engaging par 4 rewards control from the tee. Bunkers guard both sides, tightening the landing area, but a solid drive sets up a true birdie look on a well-protected green.

Hole 18 “The Grand Finale”

A strong finishing par 5 that climbs uphill toward a dramatic green. Big hitters can take on the pond and bunkers for an eagle chance, while steady players can lay up safely and close their round in confident style.
